Hey there! Thanks so much for following along with our social media. We want to be clear about some limitations of our social media content so that we can all be on the same page.

HT PHYSIO — YOUTUBE & SOCIAL MEDIA DISCLAIMER

Last updated: 28/11/25

This YouTube & Social Media Disclaimer (“Disclaimer”) applies to all content produced or shared by HT Physio Ltd (“HT Physio”, “we”, “us”, “our”) across:

  • YouTube (HT-Physio)
  • Instagram (@htphysioofficial & @HTPhysioClinic)
  • Facebook (@HTPhysioUK)
  • LinkedIn (HT Physio)
  • TikTok
  • Blog posts, reels, shorts, guidebooks and downloadable content
  • Any other platform where HT Physio publishes online content

By viewing, interacting with or relying on any of our content, you agree to the terms of this Disclaimer.

  1. General educational content only

All content we share on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, our website, email sequences or any other platform is general educational information only.

It is not:

  • medical advice
  • a diagnosis
  • physiotherapy treatment
  • personalised exercise prescription
  • a rehabilitation plan tailored to your condition
  • a substitute for an in-person assessment

This applies to all videos, reels, posts, captions, comments, live streams, and downloadable materials.

  1. Not medical advice

Although HT Physio is run by HCPC-registered physiotherapists, online content does not create medical advice or physiotherapy treatment.

Only a full, one-to-one clinical consultation (for UK-based clients) can provide:

  • diagnosis
  • personalised exercise guidance
  • clinical risk assessment

If you have pain, symptoms, injury or uncertainty about your condition, you must consult a qualified healthcare professional for personalised advice.

  1. Exercise and movement risk warning

Following exercises or demonstrations shown in our content is done at your discretion. Exercise carries inherent risks.

Stop immediately if you experience:

  • sharp or increasing pain
  • numbness, tingling, or weakness
  • dizziness or breathlessness
  • chest pain
  • unexpected symptoms

If unsure whether a movement is appropriate, seek personalised clinical guidance before beginning.

Nothing in this Disclaimer removes or limits HT Physio’s liability where the law does not allow it, including liability for injury caused by our negligence.

  1. No monitoring & no duty of care from online interactions

When you interact with our content—such as commenting, messaging, or asking questions—we do not:

  • monitor your physical performance
  • assess whether an exercise is safe for you
  • track your progress
  • provide professional clinical opinions via comments or DMs

We cannot offer personalised advice through social media.

A professional client-physio relationship is only formed when:

  1. You book an appointment with HT Physio, AND
  2. You receive explicit confirmation of service.

Until then, you are not a physiotherapy client.

  1. Accuracy and limitations of online content

We work to ensure content is accurate, evidence-informed and up-to-date.
However, due to the nature of online platforms, we do not guarantee that:

  • Information is complete
  • Exercises shown are suitable for you
  • Content will be free from errors
  • Outcomes will match those of others

If you notice an error, please notify us at hello@ht-physio.co.uk.

  1. No guarantees of results

HT Physio makes no guarantees about:

  • pain reduction
  • improvements in mobility or strength
  • success following exercises
  • outcomes similar to those shown in testimonials

Individual results vary widely due to factors outside our control.

  1. Affiliate links & advertising disclosure

Some videos, posts or pages may include links to products or services we recommend.
Where this occurs:

  • We may receive an affiliate commission
  • This is at no additional cost to you
  • We only recommend products we genuinely believe may be beneficial

We comply with ASA/FTC advertising transparency requirements.

  1. Third-party content & external links

Our content may include:

  • embedded YouTube videos
  • links to equipment or external websites
  • third-party articles

We are not responsible for:

  • external content accuracy
  • privacy practices of external sites
  • safety or suitability of external advice

You access external resources at your own discretion.

  1. Limitation of liability

Nothing in this Disclaimer excludes or limits HT Physio’s liability where it cannot be excluded under UK law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

  • any injury or issues arising from following general content not tailored to you
  • indirect, consequential or incidental damages
  • loss of profits, data, business or opportunities
  • reliance on comments, replies or general guidance in public forums

You accept responsibility for your own health decisions.

  1. For US & international viewers

Our content is created under UK law and UK professional standards.
If you are viewing from the US or another jurisdiction, treat all content as:
